Publisher Account Statuses and Limits

Introduction

Publisher accounts often have statuses and limits that control when sites can serve ads and when payouts are released. This article explains what they usually mean.

Common Account Statuses

Typical publisher statuses include:

  • Pending review while the team checks your sites.
  • Approved and active, meaning ads can serve and revenue accrues.
  • Limited or on hold if policy or quality issues appear.

Check your account or site status in the dashboard header or sites page.

Traffic and Payout Limits

Many platforms apply:

  • Minimum traffic expectations before optimizations begin.
  • Minimum payout thresholds that must be reached before payment.
  • Extra review of new accounts before the first payout is sent.

If you are below a threshold, the dashboard should show how much more revenue is required.

What to Do If You See a Warning

  1. Read any alert message fully inside the dashboard.
  2. Check policy or content guidelines if a site is limited.
  3. Contact support if the status is unclear or you believe it is incorrect.
