How to add an ad tag to <head> section in Blogger platform
Paste your EZmob code into your Blogger theme just above </head>. Note: blogspot.com addresses can't be validated. Only a Blogger blog on a custom domain can be validated and receive premium demand.
Before you start
- Connect a custom domain to your blog if you want to validate it. You can still add a blogspot.com site and create placements, but it won't be validated.
- Add the site in EZmob first. See How to Add Your Site to EZmob for Monetization.
Copy your ad code
- In the EZmob dashboard, open Sites & Placements → Your Placements.
- Click the code icon (View Script) on the placement.
- Click Copy Script.
Add the code to the <head> section
- In Blogger, open Theme.
- Click the arrow next to Customize and select Edit HTML.
- Click inside the editor, press Ctrl + F (Cmd + F on Mac) and search for
</head>. - Paste the code on the line just above
</head>. - Click Save.
Use the same steps to add your site's Validation Code, then click Validate in EZmob.
Header Bidding banner
The Header Bidding code ends with <div id="container1"></div>, which marks where the banner shows.
- Paste the code without that
<div>above</head>, as described above. - In Blogger, open Layout and click Add a Gadget in the sidebar area.
- Choose HTML/JavaScript, paste
<div id="container1"></div>into the content field and click Save.
Good to know
- If you change or reset your theme, add the code again.
- Test your blog in a private window with ad blockers off.
