Q: Which ad formats can publishers monetize with?

You can create eight ad formats as placements in Sites & Placements → Add Placement. Banner is marked Recommended. How to Track Conversions with EZmob's Postback

Accepted Answer

Use a postback URL to send conversions from your tracker or server to EZmob. Your postback URL is on the Conversion Tracking page (sidebar Postbacks): https://xml.qualiclicks.com/conversion?c={click_id}&value={value}.

Steps

In the sidebar, click Postbacks to open Conversion Tracking.
On the Postback URL tab, click Copy next to Your Postback URL.
If your tracker is listed under Tracking Partners, click it to load its pre-configured postback URL, then copy it. Click Clear selection to go back to the default URL.
In your campaign's Destination URL, pass the EZmob click ID to your tracker or offer with the {conversion} macro, for example https://yoursite.com/offer?clickid={conversion}.
In your tracker or server, paste the postback URL and fire it once for each conversion:

Replace {click_id} with the click ID you received from {conversion}.
Replace {value} with the conversion value (for example, the payout).

Complete a test conversion, then check the Conversions and Conv. Value columns under Metrics.

{conversion} is the only macro that carries the click ID. {click_id} is not a valid destination URL macro and is rejected when you save the campaign.

Payments

What's the minimum payout? $250, for both ad earnings and referral commissions. Earnings become available 15 days after they're earned. See How to Request Payment.
How do I get paid? Request a payment from Earnings whenever at least $250 is available. EZmob pays in USD.

Question 3

Track conversions with EZmob Pixel

Accepted Answer

If you can't send a server postback, add the EZmob image pixel to the page that confirms a conversion (for example, a thank-you page). Copy it from Postbacks → Image Pixel.

Steps

In the sidebar, click Postbacks and open the Image Pixel tab.
Add clickid={conversion} to your campaign's Destination URL, for example https://yoursite.com/?clickid={conversion}. The parameter name must be clickid, because the pixel reads it from the page URL.
Paste the pixel code inside the <body> of the page that loads only after a successful conversion.
Make sure that page's URL still contains clickid. If the conversion happens on a later page, pass the clickid parameter along to it.
Complete a test conversion from a live ad click. In your browser's developer tools (Network tab), check for a request to xml.qualiclicks.com/conversion?c=....
Check the Conversions column under Metrics.

Decrease latency with EU Ad Server Support

Accepted Answer

If most of your visitors are in Europe, you can serve your tags from EZmob's EU data center in Amsterdam, which is closer to them. Choose it in the placement's code view. You don't need to edit the tag by hand.

Steps

Open Sites & Placements → Placements.
Click the code icon (View Script) on the placement.
Under Data Center, click EU (Amsterdam). The default is US East (New York).
Click Copy Script (or Copy URL for Redirect placements).
Replace the old tag on your site with the new one.

The dashboard doesn't save your choice. Select EU (Amsterdam) again each time you copy the tag.

The EU tag changes only the host: xml-eu.qualiclicks.com instead of xml.qualiclicks.com. For example, an In-page tag has host: 'xml-eu.qualiclicks.com', in its settings.

Tracking Tokens and Parameters Explained

Tracking macros are placeholders in curly braces, such as {country}, that EZmob replaces with real values when someone clicks your ad. Add them to a creative's Destination URL so your tracker or landing page knows where each click came from.

Add a macro

In the campaign's creatives, click the macro button next to the Destination URL field (tooltip: Insert tracking macro).
In Tracking macros, click a macro to insert it at the cursor. Click an inserted macro again to remove it.
Give each macro a parameter name, for example https://yoursite.com/landing?country={country}&device={device_type}.

You can chain macros in one value: ?source={pubfeed}_{subid}.
