Ensuring your EZmob account is secure is essential. While phone number verification enhances security by implementing two-factor authentication (2FA) and assisting in account recovery, please note that this feature is not yet available. This guide offers a straightforward walkthrough on how to prepare for adding and verifying your phone number on EZmob once the feature is implemented.


Step-by-Step Instructions


  1. Navigate to Phone Verification

Visit your account settings by going to Profile Settings. Here, you'll find the option to add or update your phone number.

  1. Enter Phone Number

Input your phone number in the designated field, ensuring you include the correct country code. EZmob supports various international formats, so check the dropdown list to confirm your country is supported.

  1. Request SMS Verification Code

Once the feature is available, you will be able to click the 'Send Verification Code' button to receive an SMS containing a 6-digit code.

  1. Enter Verification Code

After receiving the SMS, you will type the 6-digit code into the verification field and submit it within the 10-minute time limit.

  1. Confirm Successful Verification

Once verified, a confirmation message will appear, indicating that your phone number has been successfully verified.

Troubleshooting and Support


  • SMS Delay or Non-Delivery: Delays can occur due to network issues. Unsupported carriers or incorrect number formats may also cause delivery failures. If problems persist, please contact support.
  • Unsupported Countries: Not all countries are supported due to carrier restrictions. Refer to the dropdown menu to check the list of supported countries.
  • Code Expiration: If the code expires, you will need to request a new one and ensure you enter it promptly.
  • Changing Your Phone Number: To update your phone number, repeat the steps above with your new number once the feature becomes available.

Using phone verification adds an extra layer of security to your account. Always keep your phone number up-to-date and combine it with other security measures, such as strong passwords and 2FA.
